Introducing... The New Sports and Wellness Center
Parks and Recreation has a new home for your favorite sports and fitness programs at the Sports and Wellness Center, located at 1515 Fairview, inside City Life Community Center.
Join us for youth sports and open gyms, pre-school playtime, adult fitness, pickleball, adult open gym and so much more. Best of all, NO membership is required; it’s just affordable and healthy play for the whole family. For more information, or to register for any program, phone 721-PARK or stop by Currents Aquatics Center in McCormick Park. Ask us about recreation grants for low-income families.
Pickleball Youth and Adults
We supply the nets, paddles, and balls. All ages and abilities welcome! $5 or one punch from your Open Gym card. For more information, click here
Preschool Play Time Have a ball with your preschooler at our open gym! Kids can play and be creative with our safe, indoor playground equipment and fun activities. Recreation staff will be on hand to promote a safe play environment. No drop-offs please; parent participation is encouraged! Play Time meets Thursdays, from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and is for kids ages 3 to 5. Drop-in fee is $5 per child, or save 20 percent with a 10-session punch card for $40.
Youth Open Gym
Kids: grab your pals and get your game on at the Sports & Wellness Center! No pre-registration needed. $3 per youth (17 and under.) Save 20% with a 10-session punch card for $24. Sports and times may vary, check here for the most current schedule
Rent the Gym
When not in use for programs, outside groups may rent the gym. Contact the Recreation Manager at 552-6273 for more information. View the schedule here, but keep in mind schedules are subject to change and time requested may not be available.
