Introduction to competitive swimming for ages 6 and up
Swim Squad is a great introduction to competitive swimming. The program is designed for kids who can swim the length of the pool without stopping, and are looking for new challenges in the water.
Children will improve their swimming skills, learn turns, how to read a pace clock, and build endurance while gaining the benefit and experience of a team environment. Kids who attend at least 10 practice sessions, will earn a Swim Squad Shirt!
For youth who have completed at least 1 introductory level Stroke School course, or level 4 of The American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim Program.
Purchase punch cards at Currents.
10-practice punch card $30/25 with CityCard
20-practice punch card $50/46 with CityCard
Just-For-Fun Swim Meet
A fun meet for members of our Stroke School or Swim Squad. Currents Swim Meets are relaxed events where everyone is a winner! We don't track places or points; instead we celebrate every swimmer's individual times and accomplishments. $7 per participant. Nov. 22 at Currents.
