Christmas Ever Green • Dec. 26 - Jan. 15

Missoula Parks and Recreation’s Urban Forestry Division is inviting citizens to drop off their cut Christmas trees at area parks to be chipped and recycled into productive mulch. To recycle your tree, drop it at McCormick or Playfair parks through January 15, 2018.  Due to construction at Fort Missoula Regional Park, the Fort Missoula recycling site is closed this season.

Please remove all decorations from the tree, as trees that contain tinsel or other foreign objects cannot be recycled. Please do not leave yard waste or garbage at drop sites.

The Christmas Evergreen program recycled over 15,000 trees last year, conserving valuable landfill space.

If you appreciate Christmas Evergreen and would like to donate to Trees for Missoula, visit Friends of Missoula Parks, or call 721-PARK. You may also mail donations to Parks and Recreation, 100 Hickory St., 59801.
