Community Needs Assessment

Every year, a series of public meetings are held to determine the most urgent community needs. The information you provide guides how we distribute U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds for housing and community development projects to assist low- and moderate-income residents of our community. Funds may be used to expand, maintain or improve the supply of housing; offer human services; promote economic development; and construct or rehabilitate public infrastructure.

On October 1, 2018 the City and County will launch a joint Community Needs Assessment online survey.  A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 15 from 4:00 – 5:30 at the Missoula Public Library Large Meeting room. We hope to see you there!
