Every year, a series of public meetings are held to determine the most urgent community needs. The information you provide guides us on how to distribute U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds for housing and community development projects to assist low- and moderate-income residents of our neighborhoods. Funds may be used to expand, maintain or improve the supply of housing; offer human services; promote economic development; and construct or rehabilitate public infrastructure.
There are several ways to participate in the 2017 Community Needs Assessment. A public meeting will be held on February 1st, from 6pm - 7:30pm at the Missoula Public Library located at 301 East Main Street. You can also participate by completing an online survey, which will be included in our final report.
