An assistance program is available for our water customers who may need help paying for their water utility charges.
The program is offered through the state’s Dept. of Public Health and Human Services and is administered through Missoula's Human Resource Council. Information is available at https://dphhs.mt.gov/hcsd/energyassistance/. People who qualify for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) may also qualify for a reduction in their water utility bill, which is usually $7.00 per month.
Water Line Loan Program—Missoula Water offers low-interest loans to water customers who need to repair or replace their water service lines or internal plumbing, install a water meter and meter pit, or connect to the municipal water system.
