Hello All,

WGM Group has been providing land planning and engineering services for the Missoulian property rezoning and redevelopment. Along with our client, Cole Bergquist, we had a planning charrette scheduled for December 6th at 5:30 p.m. Both Cole and WGM believe this project can benefit downtown Missoula. As such, the charrette was intended to gain insight from Hip Strip property owners and neighborhood groups with regard to site design and function. It was designed to bring our community into the fold; not to cast anyone aside. 
 
After learning of the deeply offensive messages a project investor posted last week on social media, we have decided to cancel that charrette and step back. Now is not the time to review planning details.  It's time to reassess how the community comes together to support our neighbors through a community project. 
 
WGM Group thanks those in Missoula who are engaged and continue to provide meaningful input on developments as they occur within the community.  We would like to note that Lee Enterprises will continue to operate out of the Missoulian building through March of 2022 and no immediate action or development will occur on the site.
