Transform Brooks Community Advisory Committee
The City of Missoula and Mountain Line have launched the Transform Brooks - Connect Midtown project that's focused on defining safety and mobility improvements along Brooks Street between Reserve Street and Mount Avenue. The study will develop transit, walking, biking, and roadway improvement designs.
A Transform Brooks Community Advisory Committee has been developed to provide community-centered leadership and insight during key moments in the Transform Brooks - Connect Midtown project; and support outreach and connection between communities and the planning team.
Individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds who utilize public transit, care about safe streets and mobility in the Midtown area, or are interested in engaging with fellow community members on the project are encouraged to apply.
Committee members are asked to --
- Participate in 4 advisory meetings from August 2023 - June 2024
- Attend and provide leadership during community events and input opportunities
- Support engagement with your community in ways that utilize your strengths and knowledge
Committee members will be offered reimbursements for transportation, child care, or other costs incurred to participate.
To apply please send 1-3 sentences or a short video on why you would like to join the Committee to peter@djanda.com. Applications are due by Sunday, July 30th.
