The City of Missoula (“City”) is seeking a qualified Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) firm to provide construction management services for the development of the Westside Park. This RFQ will identify the most qualified firm that has the resources, experience, and qualifications necessary for a project of significant complexity. The highest-rated firm meeting the qualification criteria specified in this RFQ will be asked to negotiate a contract for CMAR services. Responses to this RFQ must conform to the terms, conditions, and instructions set forth in this RFQ.
This project consists of demolition and construction of new recreation amenities, on a site that is currently developed parkland and active elementary school. The selected contractor will need to provide for modified safe use of school and park improvements outside the approx. 1.1-acre construction limits. The project is located on the south side of the 1100 block of Phillips St, in the City of Missoula.
The project will be constructed in one phase and includes, but is not limited to, playground deconstruction, excavation and earthwork, soil and turf remediation, site grading, concrete playground pod, construction of walkways, installation of playground equipment and fall zone materials; a sports court, lighting, irrigation, fencing, signage, site amenities, and landscape restoration. The construction budget is between $2.0 million and $2.5 million.

To enable the Owner to efficiently evaluate the responses, firms must follow the required format in preparing their responses. Responses that do not conform to the prescribed format may not be evaluated.
Electronic delivery shall ensure PDF file format of pages shall be no larger than letter-size (8½” x 11”), or if folded to that dimension, twice letter-size (11” x 17”). Each section shall be separated by a clearly labeled divider page. Elaborate covers, dividers, etc. are not required.
