Robins have arrived at the cemetery which means spring is just around the corner!

2013 Schedule

• Mar. 4                  Invoice mailing begins
• Apr. 26                 Deadline for payment to assure holiday planting
• May 17                 Flower beds ready for planting after 5:00pm
• May 23                 Flower boxes arrive from Caras Nursery
• May 17 - Jun. 2     Flowers or decorations of any type allowed
• Jun. 3                   Grounds cleared of all items except those is authorized beds, boxes, or vases
• Sept. 3                 Flower beds and boxes removed
• Sept. 3 - Nov. 27   No items allowed on grounds
• Nov. 28 - Feb. 28   Flowers or decorations of any type allowed
• Mar. 1                  Grounds cleared of all flowers and decorations
• Mar. 1 - May 17    No items allowed on grounds

Flower Options
The Missoula City Cemetery is a beautiful park in every season. To preserve the beauty and maintenance of the park, grounds regulations are strictly enforced.

Flower options include:

• Year round - Vases installed above ground on a foundation hearth
• Mid-May through Labor Day - Flower boxes or beds

Warning: The cemetery's wildlife loves your flowers. You may see a squirrel, skunk, owl, fox, deer, marmot, or others. The cemetery is a refuge for wildlife and bird habitats. Be watchful and enjoy. Please be respectful of the many species as this is their home.
