Purpose
The Board of Adjustment, enabled by state law and the Missoula City Zoning Ordinance, is established to hear and decide requests to vary from the zoning regulations, requests for special exceptions, and appeals of the zoning officer’s administrative decisions.
Members
- Seven members and two alternates
- Three-year terms
Appointments are by the mayor and are subject to council confirmation. Members must be a resident of the City of Missoula.
