Fire Department

Welcome

The Missoula Fire Department strives to meet the needs of our growing and diverse community through the effective and efficient delivery of fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, hazardous materials response, fire prevention and fire investigation services. I am proud to serve my fellow Missoulians as Chief of our fire department.

Our fire department, as with our community as a whole, derives its strength from its people. Regrettably, the first time many citizens meet their firefighters is under the most unfortunate of circumstances. I would encourage you to stop by your neighborhood fire station to say hello and get to know the men and women who stand ready to serve our community 24/7.  - Chief Jason Diehl
