Missoula Movers - Active Adults Outdoors!
Whether you want to try something new or you're an old pro at recreating with Parks and Recreation, Missoula Movers is for you. It's a wonderful way to explore Western Montana, stay active, spark a new leisure passion, make new friends or just have a great time.
All programs meet at Currents Aquatic Center. Please bring appropriate footwear, water, food and clothing for all trips. Programs are geared for active adults 55 and over, but all adults are welcome.

Natl. Bison Range/Ninepipes • June 22
Tour the Bison Range and hike the trails within this amazing animal refuge. After the range, we’ll head to the Ninepipes Museum to explore Montana history and more than100 years on the Flathead Indian Reservation. 8am-3pm, $60/53 w/CityCard
Garnet Ghost Town/Huckleberries • July 20
This historic mining town filled with lore, homes, hotels, and mines will take us back in time. After touring the ghost town we will spend time walking and picking huckleberries in prime season. 9am - 2pm, $52/45 w/CityCard
Holland Lake SUP and Kayaking • Aug. 24
Stand-up paddleboarding is the latest craze in water based travel. For those who prefer to sit, our fleet of kayaks are perfect for Holland Lake in the shadows of the Seeley Swan Range. After a paddling lesson in paddling we’ll tour of the lake. May include a hike to Holland Falls. 9am - 2pm, $57/50 w/CityCard
Biking the Hiawatha Trail • Sept. 14
A 15-mile downhill mountain bike ride with 10 train tunnels and 7 sky-high trestles through some of the most historic parts of Idaho make this a “can’t miss” trip. Bring a headlamp or bike lights. Bikes available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bike transport available, helmets are mandatory. Includes a shuttle back to start. 8am - 4pm, $60/53 w/CityCard

Join us Thursday evenings this summer for bike rides on local trails, stand up paddle boarding, and learn yoga, dance, kayaking, hiking and more. Each week, Generations at Play will tackle a new adventure and learn more about what makes the Missoula valley so special.
Transportation, equipment provided. Programs geared for adults 55 and up, but all adults are welcome. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Missoula Movers Coffee Walks
Enjoy the company of new and old friends on guided walks through Missoula's conservation lands, parks, and trails. Please dress for winter outdoor activity. Bring hiking poles if needed, and Yaktrax/traction cleats if there's snow or ice. Parks and Recreation can provide hiking poles and snowshoes if it snows! After our walks, we'll enjoy hot drinks and good company.
