Fire scientist Jack Cohen will teach about reducing ignitable factors around your home and preventing fire disasters in the Wildland-Urban Interface at four free public workshops April 3, 8 and 17 and May 8 in the greater Missoula area. The workshops are sponsored by Missoula County, the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and the Montana Elders for a Livable Tomorrow. Workshop participants will have a chance at 20 coupons per event for free disposal at Garden City Compost of brush and yard waste resulting from fire danger reduction around homes, courtesy of the City of Missoula.
