Equity In Land Use Engagement Opportunities
A foundation of the Our Missoula project is an analysis of equity in land use to identify how our current codes and policies fall short in supporting social equity goals and addressing community needs. Understanding where Missoula has been in the past and where it is today is important when determining where it wants to be in the future. And we need your help! Join us for the following Engagement Opportunities.
WHEN: Thursday, September 14
TIME: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
WHERE: Missoula Children's Theater, 200 N. Adams Street
The City of Missoula invites residents to an Equity in Land Use Presentation & Discussion. The event is open to all members of the community and will be held at the Missoula Children’s Theater on September 14th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Attendees can expect to learn about how land use influences equity and the findings of the Equity in Land Use analysis, as well as engage in discussions about their own lived experiences with fellow Missoulians and City staff.
Missoula residents can find the full Equity in Land Use Report on the Our Missoula project website. A series of videos describing the findings are available, along with accompanying questions to encourage participants to share their lived experiences and observations about housing, growth, and equity in Missoula.
