S. 4^th Street W. Traffic Detoured June 24 – 27 for Railroad Crossing Removal

The City’s Street Maintenance Division, in coordination with Montana Rail Link (MRL), will start removing the railroad tracks across S. 4^th St. W. on Monday, June 24, 2024, with completion expected on June 27, weather permitting. Crews will repair the pavement where the tracks are removed, resulting in a smoother street surface for all users.

Traffic on S. 4^th St. W. will be detoured around the construction area (see detour map below) with westbound traffic detoured at Ash St., and eastbound traffic will be detoured at Ivy St. We ask those traveling in the area to drive slowly and cautiously near the construction area long the neighborhood detour routes.
