Be a Pickleball Ambassador!

Dear Missoula Pickleball Community,

We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand-new opportunity at the Fort Missoula Regional Park (FMRP) pickleball courts—the Volunteer Pickleball Ambassador Program, presented by Missoula Parks and Recreation in partnership with 406 Pickleball!

This new initiative was created in response to your feedback. We've heard concerns about court crowding, inconsistent etiquette, and occasional tension that can make play less enjoyable. The goal of this program is simple: to create a more welcoming, respectful, and connected court environment—without adding rules or restrictions.

What is the Pickleball Ambassador Program?

Ambassadors are friendly volunteers who help support the Missoula pickleball scene. They will:

Welcome and assist new players
Encourage fair court rotation during busy times
Promote sportsmanship and resolve minor conflicts
Report maintenance or safety issues to Parks and Rec
Occasionally help organize informal games or events

This is not an enforcement role—ambassadors are not referees. They’re just fellow players helping build a more enjoyable experience for all.

Time Commitment

Ambassador shifts are flexible—just 1 to 3 hours per shift, a few times a month, based on your availability.
