Following last summer's reconfiguration of the intersection of Rattlesnake Drive/Van Buren with Missoula Avenue, we're making further enhancements by creating more space in the travel area. The sidewalk on the west side of Rattlesnake Drive will move west. Following that work, City of Missoula crews will lay down new asphalt and paint lane markings. During the project, there will be lane constrictions, and the bike lane will be closed. Cyclists will have to merge with vehicular traffic through the work zone. Watch for flaggers and possibly very short-term detours.
