The City can no longer accept payment for any outstanding 2020 sewer bills. All outstanding charges will appear on the property owner's tax bill and should be paid as part of that bill. If you have questions, please call Utility Billing Customer Services at 406-552-6700.
Moving In: Please contact our customer service representatives at (406) 552-6700. You will need your employer’s name, your number from a government-issued form of identification (driver's license number, passport number, etc.), telephone number, name of spouse or roommates, mailing address, and landlord information to establish service. You may also be required to pay a deposit.
Moving Out: The person whose name appears on the utility account is responsible for notifying us of the move out date. A final billing will be mailed after the account is closed. We are unable to make billing adjustments for late notification.
Missoula Water will install a meter free of charge if no plumbing reconfiguration is necessary. Please schedule an appointment with Missoula Water's service department to assess the ability to install a meter at your property by calling 406-552-6700. If plumbing reconfiguration is necessary, Missoula Water will supply a meter to your plumber for installation and will need to inspect the installation afterward.

Eligibility: Customers may become eligible for the low income discount by annually qualifying for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program. The Customer must provide Utility Billing with satisfactory evidence of qualification under LIEAP. Application: The Human Resource Council, (406) 728-3710, 1801 S. Higgins, has applications for LIEAP available. There is a release of information included with the HRC LIEAP application. The HRC will notify Utility Billing when you have qualified. Discount: Eligible utility customers will receive a $6.58 reduction in the applicable monthly flat rate or metered charge. The discount applies only to services provided during the current billing period and not to overdue balances from prior billing periods.

To view and manage your utility bill account online, you will need to create an online account at the Utilities Account & Payment Portal. Through this portal you will be able to view your billing and payment history, pay your bill online, set up e-Billing, choose to receive electronic notices about your account, see detailed usage charts, and more.
