Super Sprout Sports Skills
June 15 - July 23
A young child needs unconditional support from a parent or another trusted individual in order to properly learn the mechanics and fundamentals of sports. Instructors lead games and activities to introduce the fundamentals of catching, kicking, throwing, and body control to the children. Parent participation is encouraged! Soft Koosh and Nerf equipment is used so that kids can build confidence and have lots of fun. Minimum 5, maximum 20 per class.
Fee is $25/$20 with CityCard.

Kids in Action Camp

Our popular Kids in Action program—now for preschoolers! Join us for interactive and engaging morning camp in a fun learning environment. Your Pre-KIA camper will enjoy games, activities, reading, learning, arts & crafts, sports and loads of fun. Let your kids come play and be creative with our safe equipment and fun activities. Your camper will have an opportunity to socialize with other preschoolers and parents will have an opportunity to get to know each other, as well. Parent participation is welcome. Parks and Recreation staff will be on hand to promote a safe play environment.

MORE Adventure Day Camps During School Vacation Days
Keep your child active and engaged over school breaks with out Adventure Day Camps. Parents love our low participation-to-staff ratios, and dedicated camp leaders. Kids love the field trips, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and games. Please pack water, snacks, lunch, and winter clothing and boots. If your child needs winter clothing, we can outfit them for the day! You can choose to sign up for the entire week, or select specific days.

Drop is 8-8:30am, and pick up is 5-5:30pm at the Sports and Wellness Center in the City Life building at 1515 Fairview Ave. For ages 5+. Scholarships are available for most camps.

Recreation, Sports, and Outdoors Group
Tuesdays, April 7 - May 19, 1-3pm
We will rotate through both indoor sports and wellness activities and outdoor recreation.  The youth will be stewards in their own experience by aiding staff members in planning and exploring recreation pursuits of their choice. Meets at the Sports & Wellness Center at 1515 Fairview Ave. For ages 5 - 18, and all abilities. 

Activities can include but are not limited to:
OUTDOOR RECREATION:  cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snow safety and snow science lessons, winter shelter building, ice skating, wildlife tracking, mountain geology and ecology; flora and fauna; leave no trace
SPORTS AND WELLNESS:  traditional team sports, tennis, pickle ball, yoga, dance, team-building, fitness, soccer, volleyball, basketball, badminton.

Fee: $70 for first child, $50 for second child, $40 for third child, $30 for fourth child, $20 for each additional participant. All children MUST reside in the same household. 
All-Abilities Games and Sports League
Mondays, 4-5pm
For children of all abilities to play together. Keep your child active this winter with our newest indoor sports league for youth of all abilities. We will learn and practice different sports and games while practicing teamwork and having fun!  Parents may drop their child off or stay and play!  
Fee: $60/$55 with CityCard

Jr. Playmakers Youth Soccer League
April - May
Jr. Playmakers Soccer encourages safety, fun, good sportsmanship, fair play, and equal playing time for all participants. Kids will learn the basics of the sport and have tons of fun. Two weeks of practice start the season, followed by 5 weeks of games, and ending with the Missoula Spring Cup, end-of-season event. Join us for fun, recreation, and weekday games!  
For grades K-5.

Jr. Playmakers Youth Ultimate Frisbee® League
April - May
Ultimate is the perfect combination of soccer, football, rugby, and Frisbee®! Participants will learn the basics of throwing, catching, and positioning from volunteer coaches. Teams play 7v7 and games to 15 points or a time limit, whichever comes first. Ultimate Frisbee is all about the “Spirit of the Game” where games are self-officiated, teams make up a cheer for each other after every game, and good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Kids will love trying a new sport in a supportive team environment.
For grades 3-8.

Fishing Derbies
May 9 and June 13, 9-11am at Silver's Lagoon
Join us at Silver’s Lagoon for our annual youth fishing derbies. Derbies are geared for all abilities; everyone can join in on the fun! A limited number of poles are available if needed, please bring your own if you can. Prizes for different categories! Ages 12-14 need a FWP Conservation fishing license.
For ages 3 - 14
Fee is $1, and proceeds support the MORE Program.
