The Missoula Fire Department will schedule an engine visit, station tour or public education visit upon request. Our engine visits and station tours are primarily designed to provide public education for elementary school-age children and younger. An engine company will take the children through the station and fire engine, explain fire safety practices, and don full gear.
Please call our headquarters at 406-552-6210 during our normal business hours to discuss our guidelines for scheduling.
Please note that tours and visits are typically scheduled between 10:00am and 11:00am Monday - Friday. If you are requesting a time outside of this scope, please allow extra time for scheduling.
Please call well in advance of the date you would like to schedule, as training and other department projects already scheduled may conflict with the date you have in mind.
The Missoula Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau has 5 knowledgeable personnel trained in best fire safety practices for multiple circumstances. If you are looking for a Fire Safety Speaker or a led demonstration in Fire Extinguisher Training, please contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at our headquarters station at 406-552-6210 to schedule.
