Hello,

 I am with Big Sky Public Relations and work on behalf of DJ&A, the City of Missoula and Missoula County on the Mullan BUILD project. 

Thank you for your support and partnership throughout this project. We are pleased to announce that the first phase of the Mullan BUILD project funded by the Federal Highway Administration BUILD grant and local sources is nearly completed. The Mullan BUILD project will help guide how Missoula grows by building a foundation to improve safety, reduce congestion, generate economic development, and provide the infrastructure and connectivity to grow this great place. 

To commemorate this special time and celebrate what we have accomplished thus far together, we cordially invite you to attend a joint thank you and ribbon cutting event at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 off the roadway near the Mary Jane Boulevard and Camden Street intersection.

The event will be about an hour outside, as weather permits, and include a handful of speakers as well as a photo opportunity for the media. 

This milestone would not be possible without the support you have provided and the work you have done. As you are well familiar, getting to this stage has been a long process and an important project for Missoula. 

There is plenty of work to still be done to acquire additional funding for future phases of construction. However, receiving the BUILD grant and completing this first phase of construction is a reason to celebrate for our community and to honor those who have supported the team in this endeavor. 

We appreciate your time, support and continued partnership on the Mullan BUILD project.
