Energize Your Neighborhood!

Neighborhood Energizer Grants support resident-initiated  projects that improve our neighborhoods and the city as a whole. These projects will facilitate civic cooperation, neighbor engagement, and community building; create real physical improvements to benefit Missoulians; and engage in community planning or visioning, all at the neighborhood scale.

Fiscal Year 2023 Energize Your Neighborhood Grant Applications are now available.

  • Monday, November 7th, 6pm: Grant Application Workshop (via Microsoft Teams meeting). 
  • Friday, November 23, 5pm: Deadline for pre-application discussion
  • Friday, December 16, 5pm: Submit the application, budget and schedule! 

Neighborhood Grant Information

The 2023 Grant application is closed and no longer available for this year. 

Each year, the Missoula City Council allocates $20,000 for Neighborhood Project Funds (NPF) for Improvement grants.  Small grants are no longer available.

  • Grant recipients are awarded up to $6,000 each.
  • Energize Your Neighborhood Grant projects should enhance the quality of life in our community.
  • The project must be located within city limits and have lasting benefit for city residents.
